OTR Global Celebrates 25 Years!
On April 1, 2020, OTR Global celebrated 25 years of conducting marketplace research and providing channel intelligence to the institutional investor audience. This milestone comes during the unprecedented time of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States and around the world. Mark Conley, President and Director of Research, hosted a firm-wide call delivering a message of encouragement for continued success, and sharing words of hope and gratitude with all of the company’s staff based in 13 countries around the world, for their contributions.
OTR’s highly virtual work environment has always been at the heart of the company culture, along with the spirit of unity, professionalism, respect and support. All of these remain important pillars of OTR Global’s culture during this unusual time, as the team continues to connect with industry sources to share information amid the fast-changing environment and quickly evolving new trends, and with clients to deliver real-time intelligence from around the globe.
OTR Global was founded in 1995 operating as Off The Record Research® in San Francisco by Craig Gordon on the simple premise that investors could get superior results if they incorporated unbiased marketplace checks into their investment decisions. OTR has developed longstanding relationships with industry sources during the past two and a half decades, and a number of OTR staff members celebrated 10+, 15+, and even 20+ year milestones of working for the company. Some of OTR’s key team members — Jon Gates, Director of Ag and Materials, and Donna Crothers, Senior Editor of Consumer Products — have been with OTR Global since day one.
