INTERN - INVESTMENT RESEARCH 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The Winter 2018 undergraduate intern will work on a variety of business related and marketing projects with the CEO and other senior management.  This role allows for great autonomy, flexibility, and hands on learning.  The intern will have exposure to the financial services industry and the entrepreneurship of a high growth business within a highly competitive market.  Paid internship and interns must be able to prove they are able to be legally employed. The internship is in Purchase, NY. $11/hour.

PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Bachelor degree.
  • History of success and hard work exemplified in previous work experience, academics, athletics, or other activities
  • Strong MS Office skills with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong Internet research ability
  • Strong writing and verbal skills
  • Applicant must be enrolled, full time in college and must have finished freshman year.
  • Applicants must be able work for 10-12 consecutive weeks for 40 hours per week
  • Students will be responsible for their own housing and transportation during the internship

QUANTITATIVE FINANCIAL RESEARCH UNDERGRADUATE INTERN

The internship is in Purchase, NY. $11/hour.

PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  •    Strong analytics background required
  •    Experience with data modeling, quantitative analysis, investment data, alternative data
  •    Familiarity with a statistical program, such as R or Stata, a plus.
  •    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  •    Strong writing and verbal skills
  •    Applicant must be a full time undergraduate college student
  •    Applicants must be able work fulltime in our Purchase office
  •    Students will be responsible for their own housing and transportation during the internship
